I am Stella Macaulay, Deputy Director of information in the Delta State Ministry of information currently serving as the Director of Orientation and Functioning Permanent Secretary in the Delta State Orientation Bureau. My NGO-ELONA DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION was founded in 2011 and is focused on 3 thematic areas which are Health & Well being, Education & Gender Equality which address goals 3,4 & 5 of the United Nations  Sustainable Development Goals. To this end, ELONA carried out an awareness campaign as well as  screening, testing and treatment for  prostrate, cervical and breast cancer for 1000 men and women in 2012 across 2 LGAs in Delta State. Not to mention the development of the lsoko language curricula for primaries 1-5 & J.S.S.1-3 duly endorsed by the National Council of Education. This means that the lsoko language can be taught anywhere in Nigeria. To achieve  gender inclusiveness, ELONA partners with other bodies  to empower women with mental reengineering and vocational skills where necessary.

We have also been one of PECA’s many allies (since 2013 )in the fore front for a Cancer free Africa.
